Government of Canada news releases today

Every federal department and agency publishes through one system: the Canada.ca news centre. That includes news releases, statements, media advisories, backgrounders, speeches and readouts, from Finance Canada to the smallest agency. The Prime Minister’s Office runs its own newsroom at pm.gc.ca, and Government Radar ingests both.

The volume is the problem. On a normal weekday Ottawa puts out dozens of items, and a large share are media advisories and regional funding announcements. Below are the latest federal releases Government Radar has picked up, tagged by topic, with a link to the official source for each.
